The New York Sirens are seeking an experienced and passionate Marketing Manager focused on driving brand awareness and ticket sales through integrated marketing efforts. The Marketing Manager will assist the Director, Team Business Operations and league’s Marketing team with various marketing functions. Responsibilities include execution of the marketing operations plan for the calendar year, growing local marketing partnerships and developing and executing on strategies to drive database growth and retention through the greater New York / New Jersey area. Responsibilities also include developing promotions, managing local brand and marketing activations, promoting synergies between league and team marketing efforts, and collaborating with the Marketing, Ticketing, Partnerships and Merchandise Teams to ensure marketing efforts are effectively driving revenue. These responsibilities and tasks will be coordinated with and supervised by the New York Sirens’ Director, Team Business Operations.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in execution and support of the team marketing strategy including local marketing partnerships, programs, events, lead generation, promotions, ticketing, and grassroots marketing activities
- Own the New York Sirens’ marketing calendar, collaborating with the Content, Partnerships, Ticketing, Merchandise and Communications Teams on local activations, promotions, and partnerships
- Build and nurture strong local partnerships, leading local marketing activations to drive brand growth and ticket sales
- Assist in creation and execution of marketing collateral and promotion for all games and events throughout the year
- Track and report KPIs for marketing campaigns and activities within each channel
- Assist in story collection (video, photo, interviews, statistics, etc.) for use in various marketing outlets, including gathering and utilizing all assets available to tell the story of the team and various campaigns in an effective and engaging manner
- Conduct marketing research in collaboration with the marketing and business intelligence teams to understand competitive landscape, fan pain points and / or opportunities, best practices, and trends across the industry, and identify notable fan touch points
- Coordinate with Communication and Public Relations team to maintain consistency across messaging and efforts including unity and theme night games
- Coordinate with Partnerships Team to fulfill partner integration throughout relevant marketing efforts
- Serve as the day-to-day project manager for assigned campaigns, ensuring that assets, approvals, and communications stay on track
- Assist with general administrative tasks and ad hoc projects as assigned
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 2-3 years in a marketing department or related role
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, sports business, or related degree – Required
- Experience in the sports and entertainment industry – Preferred
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, HubSpot or other email marketing tools, and Meta Business Suite or other social media ad management platforms – Preferred
- Must be proficient with computers and MS Office programs

COMPENSATION:
Annual Salary: The annual salary range for this role is $65,000 - $75,000 USD.
Position includes participation in all welfare, perquisites, fringe benefit, insurance, retirement and other benefit plans, practices, policies and programs, made available by the league as may be in effect from time to time.
