Position Summary
The Hockey Operations Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of the Minnesota Frost, delivering high-quality logistical, travel, and player-related support. Reporting to the Director, Team Services, this individual helps create a seamless, professional, and supportive environment for players, coaches, and staff, both on and off the ice. This posting is for an existing vacancy. The pay range for this position is $47,000 to $50,000 USD annually.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the Director, Team Services and the broader hockey operations team, including players, coaches, officials, medical, and equipment staff.
- Coordinate travel, facility, and player-related logistics, including Training Camp and Draft event materials.
- Serve as liaison with venue partners for building access, parking, and office needs.
- Support community relations, player relations, and grassroots initiatives, including player appearances under the CBA.
- Lead game-day operations, including officials coordination, credentialing, video and stats systems, and venue liaison duties.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- This position is based in the United States. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. The PWHL does not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
Preferred Qualifications
Background in sports management or a related field.
Flexibility & Travel
· Candidate must be able to work on-site in St. Paul, Minnesota.
· This position does not travel with the team.
· Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
