The Professional Women’s Hockey League is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual for the role of Game Presentation & Fan Experience Manager for the Minnesota Frost. This position reports to the Team Business Director and is a key member of the Live Events and Fan Experience team, responsible for the strategy, planning, and execution of all in-venue presentation elements at home games and select special events. 


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Game Presentation & Production

  • Lead the end-to-end development and execution of game day production materials for all home games, including the run of show, host and public address (PA) system scripts, timing sheets, and broadcast coordination notes.
  • Manage a seasonal game day team of approximately 15–25 staff members, encompassing control room operators, in-arena hosts, PA announcers, DJs, hype teams, and game day assistants.
  • Facilitate pre-game rehearsals and production meetings to ensure alignment across departments and readiness for live execution.
  • Oversee all in-game entertainment and presentation elements for all home games annually, including the integration of video, lighting, audio, graphics, and live talent.
  • Work closely with the Hockey Operations team to schedule and execute special presentations, ceremonial puck drops, and league-driven initiatives.
  • Coordinate with social media, content, and broadcast teams to ensure unified storytelling across platforms.
  • Manage the fan experience operating budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
 
Sponsorship Activation & Community Engagement

  • Oversee the execution of all in-game sponsored content, activations, and contests, ensuring full delivery of all contracted sponsorship assets.
  • Develop and manage 5–10 promotional features per season, designed to meet sponsor objectives while enhancing the in-game experience.
  • Collaborate with local organizations and community partners on theme nights and unity initiatives, including concourse activations, in-arena recognition, and video board storytelling.

 Fan Experience & Group Sales Integration

  • Create and deliver over 20 custom fan experience packages each season, such as zamboni rides, youth intermission games, high-five tunnels, and on-ice ceremonies.
  • Partner with ticketing and group sales teams to support fan retention strategies through personalized and memorable in-game experiences.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:      

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in live event production, sports entertainment, or game presentation.
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale event productions from concept through execution, including scripting, show calling, and cueing technical elements in a live setting.
  • Experience managing and motivating event day staff and talent under pressure.
  • Strong understanding of in-venue entertainment technologies including audio, video, lighting, and control room operations.
  • Creative mindset with a sharp eye for storytelling, pacing, and emotional impact.
  • Familiarity with sponsorship activations, community engagement initiatives, and fan-facing promotions.
 
SKILLS, ABILITIES & OTHER ATTRIBUTES: 

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. 
  • Ability to take direction and work collaboratively within a team environment. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across departments and with external vendors and partners.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
  • Candidate must be able to work a hybrid of remotely and on-site.
 

COMPENSATION:

Annual Salary: The annual salary range for this role is $$45,000-$65,000 USD. 

Position includes participation in all welfare, perquisites, fringe benefit, insurance, retirement and other benefit plans, practices, policies and programs, made available by the league as may be in effect from time to time.
