JOB DESCRIPTION: 

As a valued member of the Ticketing and Business Operations teams, the Fan Development & Group Sales Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, interest, engagement and ultimately group sales revenue for the Minnesota Frost. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) on the ground floor and be a part of building a successful professional league. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, positive and resilient to join our Minnesota Frost team. 

 
 Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Identify, establish, and manage partnerships with community organizations to create in-game and non-game day community engagement opportunities for the Minnesota Frost.
  • Collaborate with community partners to develop group sales and coordinate in-game activations, such as pre-game panels, anthem buddies and intermission scrimmages, managing all aspects from pre-game preparation to execution.
  • Develop community-based marketing strategies to drive group sales, focused on events, contests & promotions, and complimentary ticketing programs.
  • Seek external community events for the Minnesota Frost to participate in, ensuring strong representation throughout the greater St. Paul area.
  • Expand the Minnesota Frost’s marketing database by integrating data capture opportunities and event registrations into all community-based activities.
  • Build relationships with other Minnesota sports teams to explore collaboration opportunities (e.g., Minnesota Frost players coaching youth camps or tabling at local games).
  •  Support the Game Presentation team to align in-game community activations with unity and theme night events.
  •  Plan and execute season ticket member and fan engagement events, including programming, budgeting, and involving community partners as needed.
  • Facilitate and manage group sales, including opportunities for attendees to participate in in-game activations.
  • Partner with Social Media, Content, and Fan Experience teams to develop and implement fan engagement contests, enhancing interaction and generating leads for future ticket sales.
  • Support local camps and clinics in collaboration with league and team hockey operations departments.
  • Collaborate with Social Media and Content teams to capture and share footage of community activations, creating content that highlights the Minnesota Frost’s community impact.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Team Business Operations. 

 Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of proven success and experience in fan experience and group sales preferably in the sports industry
  • Previous experience in sports sales, fan experience, events, or marketing 
  • Able to work non-traditional hours, in non-traditional settings, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
 

Annual salary range for this role is : $38,000-$41,000 USD

Position includes participation in all welfare, perquisites, fringe benefit, insurance, retirement and other benefit plans, practices, policies and programs, made available by the league as may be in effect from time to time.
