The Professional Women’s Hockey League is seeking a highly motivated, positive and resilient individual for the role of In-Arena Host for the Boston Fleet. This position reports to the Game Presentation Manager.

 
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Serve as primary host for in-game promotions, contests, and fan engagement activations, both on and off the ice
  • Interact with fans in a personable and family-friendly manner, creating a welcoming and fun atmosphere throughout the game
  • Work closely with crew captains and the game presentation team to execute game-day entertainment activations and creatively adapt to live-game conditions when applicable
 
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:       
  • High school degree 
  • 1-2 years host or journalism/broadcast/acting experience  

SKILLS, ABILITIES & OTHER ATTRIBUTES:
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail 
  • Ability to take direction and work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Adapt to live game changes effortlessly and foster spontaneous moments to maintain an upbeat, and entertaining atmosphere
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required
  • Candidate must be able to work on-site at arena
