The Professional Women’s Hockey League is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hockey Operations Coordinator to join the Boston Fleet hockey operations department. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in providing elite-level support to the Boston Fleet players, coaches, and staff, ensuring a high standard of care both on and off the ice. Reporting to the Director of Hockey Operations &Team Services, along with the General Manager, this position will support team logistics, travel, hospitality, and player-related operations, fostering a seamless and supportive environment for all Boston Fleet personnel. 

Key Responsibilities 
●     Work directly with the Director of Team Services to deliver exceptional player and family experiences. 
●     Work closely with the General Manager to support any requests or administrative needs that arise during the season.
●     Serve as a liaison between players, coaches, the league and the Boston Fleet organization. 
●     Support Boston Fleet players with day-to-day needs, as required.
●     Plan and execute team-related events.
●     Build and maintain a trusted network of local service providers in support of the team (i.e. catering, education, childcare services, real estate, etc.).
●     Assist with operational logistics including ice bookings, equipment shipments, product procurement, and reimbursement processes. 
●     Provide players and staff with communication and updates on business operations and upcoming event opportunities.
●     Oversee player autograph sessions to ensure CBA guidelines are followed. 
●     Coordinate home game-day logistics such as parking pass distribution, snack table purchases, and administrative needs of the coaching staff.
●     Assist in credentialing, player onboarding, and HUB organization throughout the season. 
●     Support team-building events, community initiatives, and outreach programming.
●     Support the league with logistics relating to Takeover Tour games and events involving the Boston Fleet.
●     Uphold a collaborative, player-first culture with integrity and professionalism.

Qualifications 
●     Background in sports management or related field preferred. 
●    Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role 
●     Strong understanding of professional hockey operations; Women's hockey experience is an asset. 
●     Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in high-pressure environments. 
●     Strong organizational and project management skills with an attention to detail. 
●     Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. 
●     Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extensive travel during the season. 
●     Ability to work independently while also fostering a positive, team-first atmosphere. 

Additional Information 
●     This is an on-site position based in Boston.
●     Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

The salary range for this role is:  $ 55,000 – 65,000 USD
