This is an exciting opportunity to join the Professional Women’s Hockey League's Boston Fleet as a Fan Experience and Game Presentation Associate. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, positive and resilient to join our Boston Fleet team.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leads preparation and distribution of all necessary entertainment materials such as Run of Show, PA scripts, timelines, music, FX light cues, etc., required to deliver each event effectively
Serve as “Show Caller / Game Director” for all Boston Fleet home games.
Manage and schedule all part-time event staff
Specific preparation and strategic direction of all multi-media content, including video, LED, audio, FX lights, graphic notes, statistics accuracy, and all live coverage expectations
Possess an excellent working knowledge of available in-house presentation & multi-media resources and control room equipment
Develop and execute creative and effective event entertainment elements, including crowd interactives, multi-media programming, and integration of all sales/marketing/sponsorship initiatives
Coordinate any necessary facility preparation and props
Work with Director of Business Operations to develop and follow through on a comprehensive annual entertainment plan that syncs with agreed-upon business strategies and budgets
Assist with developing and executing special events and theme days as requested
Assist with management of gameday entertainment including National Anthem performers and color guards
Stay updated on event entertainment and multi-media industry trends, proposing any upgrades and/or purchases to maintain a fresh, state-of-the-art guest experience
Assist with creating and editing video/audio/graphics content using Abobe Creative Suite
Seeks new ways to engage the fans and drive attendance and enhance the overall atmosphere for fan’s on gameday.

QUALIFICATIONS:

2-4 Years of Experience in Fan Experience and Game Presentation preferably in the sports industry
Show Calling experience required.
Degree in Marketing, Communications, Sport Management or related field
Previous experience in sports promotions, events, or marketing
Able to work non-traditional hours, in non-traditional settings, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
