Position Summary:
The Pittsburgh Penguins are seeking a passionate, committed, high-energy service and salesperson to renew season ticket holders as well as drive new revenue for our organization. As a Membership Service Representative, you should be highly motivated and organized with an outgoing personality.  The ideal candidate possesses a history of consistently exceeding revenue expectations, engages with season ticket holders in a positive and meaningful way, completes in-arena and offsite face-to-face appointments, navigates complex conversations that include problem solving and overcoming objections, and builds a book of business via referrals and upgrade selling. 
 
 Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
  • Build relationships with season ticket members and final decision makers through phone calls, emails, face-to-face meetings and in-seat visits 
  • Make a minimum number of calls each day to season ticket accounts and sales prospects
  • Meet or exceed renewal revenue goals through retaining and upgrading your book of business
  • Maintain records of season ticket members profile in CRM database
  • Drive new revenue from your members and leads provided to you by selling season tickets, premium products, groups and partial plans 
  • Excel at generating referrals from current members that lead to new revenue
  • Create memories for members by assisting with experiences and events based on their interests
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment by solving problems and overcoming objections
  • Set appointments for face-to-face meetings and host personal tours for members
  • Participate in season ticket holder in-game experiences and events, both at the arena and off-site
  • Maximize opportunities during home games by meeting members at the Black and Gold Premier Member Headquarters
 
Qualifications:
  • You should be a self-starter with a positive attitude and a track record of generating revenue
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred, but not required) from an accredited college or university in Business, Sports Management, Marketing or related field
  • Be customer service and fan experience oriented
  • At least one year of successful ticket sales experience
  • Excellent communication skills including written and verbal; ability to present ideas clearly and concisely
  • Solid prioritization and organizational skills, being able to handle multiple projects at once
  • The ability to thrive in a dynamic, deadline driven environment
  • Ability to network throughout the business community and various organizations
  • Flexibility to adapt in a frequently changing work environment and deliver on challenging demands
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Archtics, Salesforce CRM 
  • Ability to drive toward specific goals and results
  • Presents self in professional manner and effectively interact with both B2B and B2C members
  • Available to work a variable schedule, including holidays, nights, weekends, and all arena events
