Job Description: The Pittsburgh Penguins seek a CRM and Fan Insights Analyst to join the Business Intelligence team to help support CRM initiatives for the organization in the areas of marketing, ticket sales and sponsorships. The role will be responsible for CRM UI customization and optimization, fan research and segmentation, email campaign tracking, ad hoc reporting and analysis, sales campaign/lead creation and facilitating data ingress/egress from the CRM system.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Maintain and optimize CRM platform to provide an effective and custom user experience for CRM Users
- Monitor and maintain customer data quality and data hygiene; identify and address data inconsistencies across platforms
- Aggregate, clean, and transform data from various sources and vendors
- Support Ticket Sales department with campaign tracking and lead procurement, cleansing, and distribution
- Coordinate with Marketing and Ticket Ops Departments on execution and tracking of digital marketing campaigns
- Support sponsorship research requests utilizing fan data, internal vendor information and publicly available data
- Utilize Tableau to create an executive level dashboards and advanced reporting
- Analyze fan related data as it relates to demographics, psychographics, behavior and historical trends
- Assist in onboarding of new users to the CRM platform and best practices
- Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Resourceful problem solver who is able to find solutions for a wide variety of challenges
- Comfort working with a range of department stakeholders and balancing their priorities
- Experience working with a CRM System (Microsoft Dynamics/Salesforce) preferred; Experience with Sports platforms (SSB/KORE) a plus
- Familiarity with business intelligence platforms (e.g. Tableau, Looker, Domo)
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate findings from complex data analysis
- Basic programming or technical experience preferred
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher
