Job Title: Email Marketing Coordinator

Department: Marketing

Job Reports To: Media & Database Marketing Manager

Status: Exempt

 

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for supporting the development, execution and reporting of email marketing and digital communication efforts for the Nashville Predators and Bridgestone Arena. A primary focus will be placed on building and distributing email campaigns while also assisting with SMS/text campaigns and database communication efforts that support ticket sales, corporate partnerships, arena events, fan engagement, season ticket member communication, and other organizational priorities.

 

The Email Marketing Coordinator will work closely with ticket sales, corporate partnerships, arena marketing, and other internal departments to deliver clear, timely, and effective messaging to fans and customers. This role requires comfort working in email marketing platforms and the ability to manage multiple campaigns in a fast-paced environment.

 

Overall Marketing Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Assist in the development and execution of email marketing campaigns supporting Nashville Predators and Bridgestone Arena.
  • Work with internal departments to gather campaign details, organize messaging priorities and build email communications that align with organizational goals.
  • Support revenue-generating departments, including Ticket Sales, Corporate Partnerships, Premium Sales and Arena Marketing, through targeted email campaigns and digital communication strategies.
  • Help maintain a consistent brand voice across email communications, ensuring all messaging is clear, accurate and aligned with current campaign objectives.
  • Track, organize and report on email campaign performance, including sends, opens, clicks, click-through rates, click-to-open rates and other relevant metrics.
  • Assist with SMS/text database marketing efforts, including copy support, audience coordination, scheduling assistance and performance reporting as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

 

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Write, build, test and distribute email communications for the Nashville Predators and Bridgestone Arena.
  • Manage recurring email communications, including but not limited to newsletters, event, ticket sales campaigns, promotional offers, season ticket holder campaigns, and partner- supported campaigns.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to collect copy, links, graphics, audience details and approvals prior to deployment.
  • Proofread all email communications for accuracy, grammar, brand consistency, link functionality and overall user experience.
  • Support A/B testing efforts for subject lines, creative, calls-to-action, send times and other campaign variables.
  • Build and maintain email tracking documents, calendars, and recap reports.
  • Collaborate with Ticket Sales and Corporate Partnerships to execute email campaigns tied to revenue goals, sponsored promotions, theme nights, giveaways, special events,
  • premium and group sales, and more.
  • Assist with SMS/text campaign development by helping draft concise copy, coordinate campaign details, confirm links and support scheduling or deployment needs as assigned.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure email and SMS/text communications are coordinated, timely and aligned with broader campaign calendars.
  • Stay informed on email marketing trends, deliverability best practices and opportunities to improve engagement.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • B.A. Degree in Marketing or related field.
  • Minimum of one to two years of marketing, email marketing, communications or related experience.
  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify errors before deployment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines at once.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms, CRM systems or marketing automation tools preferred.
  • Experience with ticketing, offer management, or promotional sales platforms such as TM1 and Spinzo is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of email performance metrics, including open rate, click-through rate and click-to-open rate.
  • Ability to synthesize detailed information and communicate it in a clear, concise manner.
  • Proactive planner with a sense of urgency, creativity and strong follow-through.
  • Ability to work well with people in a collaborative team environment.
  • Sports, arena, entertainment, ticketing or live event industry experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; experience with project management tools, CRM platforms or analytics/reporting tools a plus.
  • As a condition of employment, qualified applicant will be subject to a background check, including a criminal history check, driving history and character references.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license, possess a suitable driving history and be insurable by the Nashville Predators’ insurance carrier without conditions.

Essential Physical Functions:

  • Frequent lifting, bending, walking and handling heavy equipment and props up to 50 lbs. required.
  • Exposure to bright lights, extreme temperatures and loud noise.
  • Ability to stand in an upright position for continuous period of time.
  • Excellent speaking and listening skills, requiring the perception of speech.

  • General Office Equipment (i.e., PC, copier, facsimile machine, etc.)
