The Nashville Predators and Bridgestone Arena Guest Services Department is seeking an intern for the Fall 2026 semester (August–December). This intern will assist with all aspects of the Guest Services Team, including Quality Assurance, Event Operations, and supporting Nashville Predators home games, concerts, and special events at Bridgestone Arena. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and delivering exceptional customer service. This role is highly mobile and requires being on your feet for extended periods of time. Strong communication skills are also essential, as this intern will regularly interact with guests, staff members, and internal departments to help ensure a positive and memorable experience for all who enter Bridgestone Arena. We are looking for a very energetic and outgoing individual who has a positive, can-do attitude and has a strong desire to learn and be part of the Smashville culture. In addition to the duties and objectives listed below, students will receive the opportunity to gain exposure to different departments and entities within the Nashville Predators organization. The Nashville Predators intern program provides an educational, skill-building, hands-on experience for all participants, and a cornerstone of the program is the interns ability to earn college credit for participation in the program.

Candidates MUST be able to receive college credit for the completion of this internship. The Nashville Predators do not provide housing or transportation accommodations.

Guest Services Internship Duties & Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance -
  • Assist with pre-event Arena walkthroughs, collecting notes to share with respective departments
  • Complete Quality Assurance surveys during events to identify service strengths and opportunities for improvement
  • Interact with Staff and guests to help evaluate the overall customer service experience
  • Collaborate with the Business Analytics Team to review survey results and identify ways to improve
Guest Services -
  • Assist the Guest Services Manager during hockey and non-hockey events
  • During non-hockey events, assist/shadow the FOH (Front of House) Manager
  • Help track and organize Guest Services inventory, including uniforms, wristbands, giveaways, and premium-area items
  • Attend weekly meetings to learn how the Guest Services Department prepares for events
Event Operations -
  • Support the Director of Event Operations with event staffing needs throughout Bridgestone Arena
  • Track contracted Event Staff to help the Director of Event Operations plan for future events
  • Assist with event-related parking needs and requests
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Guest Services Internship Minimum Requirements:
  • Reliable transportation to and from Bridgestone Arena
  • Strong computer skills, including programs such as Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Be a team player with the ability to handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to react appropriately in emergency and high stress situations
  • Ability to anticipate, identify, and solve problems
  • Must have a basic knowledge of technology, including radios and hand-held devices
  • Ability to use other equipment including, but not limited to, ticket scanners, security wands, and x-ray machines

Nashville Predators Internship Requirements:
  • Fall semester internship duration will be approximately August-December 2026
  • All internships are in person; no remote opportunities are available at this time
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends within the student’s designated credit hour requirement when necessary
  • All interns must be students at accredited colleges and universities, with the ability to earn academic credit for time spent in an internship position
  • Internships are open to Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors receiving college credit
  • Internships do not provide compensation, housing, or transportation
  • Internships do not guarantee full-time positions with the Predators upon completion
  • As a condition of internship, qualified applicant will be subject to a background check, which will at a minimum include a criminal background check, and if applicable, may include a driving history check
  • Be able to maintain confidential information
