The Rochester Jr. Americans are members of the NAHL and play home games from September through April.

The North American Hockey League is the oldest and largest junior hockey league in the United States. The NAHL is considered one of the best at advancing players to the NCAA and professional hockey. During their 2024-25 campaign, the team made the Robertson Cup Final.  Throughout the season, over 20,000 fans packed the Rochester Ice Center including multiple sellout crowds.

Summary
The Jr. Americans are seeking a videographer/content creator for the 2025-2026 season. You will collaborate with our media team to create and release short-form content across social media and videoboard. You’ll be responsible for collecting weekly content from our games. In addition, you’ll edit videos for various social platforms and the videoboard.

Responsibilities
  • Collecting highlight footage from our games. 
  • Editing and trimming video clips optimized for multiple social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Twitter (X), Facebook)
  • Collaborating with the Jr. Americans media team to optimize content. 

Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience with editing short-form content in the sports industry
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro
  • Possess high attention to detail in editing and posting content
  • Experience in editing videos for different social media layouts
  • Knowledge and understanding of sports
  • Willingness to work weekend nights
