Social Media Internship

• Content Creation: Develop engaging content for various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) including graphics, videos, and written posts.
• Social Media Management: Schedule and publish posts, monitor engagement, and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner.
• Analytics: Track and analyze social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns and provide insights for improvement.
• Campaign Support: Assist in the planning and execution of social media campaigns, promotions, and contests.
• Game Day Coverage: Provide live updates, photos, and videos during games and events to keep fans engaged.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and communications team to ensure brand consistency and align social media efforts with overall marketing strategies.
• Research: Stay updated on the latest social media trends and best practices to keep our content fresh and relevant.
• Community Engagement: Engage with fans, followers, and community members to build a strong online presence and foster a sense of community.

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college/university program in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative mindset with the ability to generate new ideas and content.
• Basic graphic design skills (experience with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc. is a plus).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for hockey and sports is a plus.
