Position Overview:
We are seeking a confident and enthusiastic Public Address & Game Day Host Intern to join our game day presentation team. This is an unpaid internship, ideal for students or recent graduates interested in broadcasting, announcing, and live event production. The intern will serve as the public voice of the New Jersey Titans during home games, energizing the crowd, announcing lineups, goals, penalties, promotions, and engaging fans throughout the event.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the public address announcer during Titans home games and select events.
- Announce starting lineups, goals, penalties, promotional activities, and in-game messages.
- Work with the game day operations team to execute scripts and timing for announcements.
- Engage fans with enthusiasm and professionalism, creating an exciting arena atmosphere.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure consistent communication across all game day elements.
- Assist with additional game presentation and entertainment duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong verbal communication and public speaking skills.
- Clear, confident, and enthusiastic voice suitable for live event announcing.
- Ability to follow scripts and adapt quickly in a live, fast-paced environment.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work evenings and weekends.
- Passion for hockey, sports, and live event production.
- Enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Communications, Sports Management, Broadcasting, or a related field.
