Position Overview:
We are seeking an energetic and creative Mascot Performance Intern to join our game day entertainment team. This is an unpaid internship, ideal for students or recent graduates interested in performance, entertainment, and fan engagement within a professional sports environment. The intern will serve as the New Jersey Titans mascot during home games and community events, playing a vital role in creating a fun and memorable experience for fans of all ages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform as the official New Jersey Titans mascot (Pucky!) during home games, events, and community appearances.
- Engage with fans of all ages through entertaining skits, dances, and in-game activities.
- Collaborate with game day staff to support promotional activities and fan engagement initiatives.
- Maintain a professional and positive demeanor while in costume and while representing the Titans organization.
- Assist in the upkeep, cleanliness, and storage of mascot costumes and props.
- Contribute ideas to enhance mascot performances and fan interactions.
Qualifications:
- Outgoing personality with a passion for entertaining and engaging large crowds.
- Ability to perform in a full-body costume for extended periods of time.
- Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with fans of all ages.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Background in theater, performance, or athletics is preferred but not required.
- Enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Sports Management, Communications, Marketing, Performing Arts, or a related field.
