Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and energetic Mascot Handler Intern to join our game day entertainment team. This is an unpaid internship, ideal for students or recent graduates interested in sports entertainment, event operations, and fan engagement. The Mascot Handler will work alongside the Mascot Performer during home games and community events, assisting with logistics, safety, and fan interactions to ensure a smooth and engaging experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accompany the Mascot Performer during home games, appearances, and community events.
- Guide and support the mascot to ensure safety in crowded or high-energy environments.
- Facilitate fan interactions, including photographs, meet-and-greets, and in-game activities.
- Assist with managing props, costumes, and performance timing.
- Serve as the liaison between the mascot and game day staff for promotional activities.
- Provide logistical and creative support to enhance mascot performances and fan engagement.

- Outgoing, friendly, and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to remain attentive and proactive in high-energy, fast-paced environments.
- Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working evenings and weekends.
- Passion for sports, entertainment, and live fan engagement.
- Enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Sports Management, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
