Head Coach – 18U AAA
The New Jersey Titans are seeking a passionate and experienced Head Coach to lead one of our 18U AAA teams in the Atlantic Youth Hockey League. This is a high-performance role focused on player development, team culture, and competitive excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a season-long training and competition plan aligned with USA Hockey’s American Development Model (ADM)
- Recruit and select players who embody the Titans’ values of hard work, grit, and teamwork
- Lead on-ice practices, off-ice conditioning, and video sessions
- Coordinate with assistant coaches, goalie coaches, and strength & conditioning staff
- Conduct regular video analysis, player evaluations, and team meetings
- Foster a positive, respectful, and development-focused team environment
- Promote player advancement to junior, collegiate, and professional levels
- Represent the Titans professionally at all required league events, showcases, and tournaments
Qualifications:
- USA Hockey Coaching Education Program (CEP) certification (Level 4 or higher preferred)
- Completion of SafeSport training and background screening
- Proven coaching experience at the AAA, junior, or collegiate level
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to mentor and motivate athletes both on and off the ice
- Familiarity with video breakdown tools and performance analytics
Compensation will be determined based off of experience and an interview with team owners
