Position Overview:
The NA3HL is seeking creative and motivated Photography Interns to support our media team for the 2026-27 season. This role is ideal for students or early professionals looking to gain real sports industry experience capturing game and behind the scenes content. You’ll work directly under the NA3HL media and communications department to assist with visual content initiatives across digital platforms. Please note this is an unpaid internship. Interns are able to receive college credit if applicable. You will learn skills in photo taking and editing.
Responsibilities:
- Capture high quality in-game and behind-the-scenes photos of local NA3HL team(s)
- Edit photos and organize images in a shared league system in a timely manner
- Adhere to NA3HL standards and creative direction provided by the Media Department
- Assist with additional visual content creation needs, including themed photo shoots, spotlight features, and player headshots
- Represent the league in a professional and positive manner
Requirements:
- College students able to earn credit for their internship are preferred
- Must be based in or near one of the NA3HL markets
- Sports photography experience is preferred
- Basic photo editing skills
- Must have access to photography equipment (DSLR or mirrorless camera, lenses, etc)
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
- Availability on weekends and/or evenings for game coverage
