Coordinator of Streaming and Broadcasting, North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing all aspects of NAHL TV, the streaming platform for the North American Hockey League (NAHL), North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL), and North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL).
- Act as the primary or secondary on-site engineer for all league-run events, ensuring high-quality streaming and broadcasting services.
- Liaise with teams to coordinate streaming and broadcasting needs, providing support and guidance to enhance their capabilities.
- Problem-solve technical and logistical issues related to streaming and broadcasting, ensuring smooth operations for game broadcasts.
- Act as a go-between for Hockey Technology Partners and teams, facilitating communication and collaboration to enhance streaming and broadcast quality.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the viewer experience on NAHL TV, including exploring new broadcast features and techniques.
- Assists in the production, design and implementation of all league-wide marketing projects.
- Assists in the production, design and execution of all league broadcasts
- Other duties as assigned
- 40-50 hours per week at the NAHL offices located in Dallas, Texas
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Dependable and reliable
- Knowledge and proficiency in the Adobe Media Suite
- Knowledge and experience with Blackmagic Design production tools or similar tools
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interface with personnel at all levels, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to effectively manage/coordinate simultaneous projects, and successfully prioritizes multiple tasks with good judgment, high sense of urgency
- Ability to meet new challenges with an open mind and an optimistic response
- Flexibility to travel 10-12 times a year, inclusive of some weekend and evening work
- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
