Position Overview
The Minot Minotauros of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are looking for a Broadcast/Media Manager to serve as the Play-by-Play broadcaster for the 2026/27 season. This role is for a team player looking for an opportunity in communications, broadcasting, and public relations while helping share the story of the Minot Minotauros throughout the season.

This is an in-person position based in Minot, North Dakota. Candidates must be willing to relocate to the Minot area for the duration of the 2026–27 season.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the on-air broadcaster for all 59 regular season games and any postseason games.
  • Co-host pre and postgame shows
  • Assist at morning skates with conducting pregame content
  • Manage game notes and line chart distribution
  • Assist with postgame press releases and highlight content
  • Attend community events
  • Assist with player appearances
  • Help film/edit social media content
  • Integrate behind the scenes player content and storytelling
  • Plan content, on-air segments, and live shows
  • Maintain a line of transparent communication with the rest of the Media Team
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements: 
  • Previous play-by-play broadcasting experience required
  • Strong creative, organizational, written and verbal communication skill
  • Hockey broadcasting experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with live sports production and/or digital content preferred
  • Writing and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Adobe Suites and PremierePro
  • Ability to relocate to Minot, North Dakota
  • Candidate must have their own device to edit/work on (MacBook/Apple Product preferred)
  • Be able to multi-task and communicate effectively
