Aberdeen Wings (NAHL) - Equipment Manager
The Aberdeen Wings of the NAHL, are seeking an Equipment Manager. The Wings are located in Aberdeen, SD The Equipment Manager is responsible for overall equipment of the team, such as skate sharpening, equipment orders, equipment repairs, cleanliness of team facilities/locker room, and communicating with Head Coach daily for other tasks. Must be willing to travel, works nights and weekends.

The Aberdeen Wings of the NAHL, are seeking an Equipment Manager. The Wings are located in Aberdeen, SD The Equipment Manager is responsible for overall equipment of the team, such as skate sharpening, equipment orders, equipment repairs, cleanliness of team facilities/locker room, and communicating with Head Coach daily for other tasks. Must be willing to travel, works nights and weekends.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Making sure players have what they need for practices and games
- Doing team laundry after every practice and on game days
- Sharpen skates daily
- Sewing to repair all socks, jerseys, and all equipment repairs
- Strong communication with staff and players
- Overall cleanliness of team facilities and locker room
- Prepares budget and estimates for equipment
- Establishes, Maintains and reconciles uniform and equipment inventories and oversees the maintenance of all inventory records for the organization
Qualifications:
- Previous Equipment manager experience preferred, but not required
- Strong knowledge of hockey equipment maintenance and repair.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various conditions (cold rinks, travel environments).
