Logistics Specialist - $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
The Logistics Specialist oversees daily dock operations, including scheduling, traffic flow, and freight handling, while maintaining strict safety and security protocols. The Specialist also supports the allocation of service corridors and storage areas, ensuring optimal use of space and resources across the complex.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Execute the daily dock plan, assigning shipments and deliveries to appropriate dock locations.
- Support daily and event-based traffic and dock parking operations.
- Collaborate with event management and security teams to ensure smooth logistical traffic flow.
- Assist vendors, contractors, and event teams to facilitate efficient vehicle and freight movement.
- Serve as the primary contact for freight management protocols and inquiries.
- Coordinate with Security to ensure delivery procedures are followed.
- Receive, process, and distribute incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Partner with internal departments (e.g., Event Management, Retail) to manage storage and delivery logistics.
- Monitor and maintain dock equipment, including overhead doors, lift gates, and barricades.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization of all dock and service areas.
- Coordinate with parking ramp operations as needed.
- Ensure the safety and security of all vehicles in the dock and valet areas.
- Provide backup support for Wild Team Valet and contracted valet services.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Formal Education & Certification:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Familiarity with managing traffic flow and fast-paced logistical operations while delivering exceptional service.
- Two to four years of experience in logistics or operations, preferably within arenas, stadiums, or convention centers.
- Experience in shipping/receiving, dock traffic coordination, and freight storage in high-volume environments.

Work Conditions:
- Must be able to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, early mornings, weekends, and holidays, based on the event schedule.
- Physical requirements include sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, lifting, grasping, etc.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
