Wild Foundation Intern - $15.97 per hour 

As an Intern with the Wild Foundation, you will support key programming and fundraising initiatives such as event planning and execution, auction building, in-game sales, and helping generate vital funds for community impact. You will collaborate with youth hockey associations, manage CRM database entries and donor communications, and assist with donor prospect research to strengthen community relationships. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations and expanding the Foundation’s outreach through meaningful engagement and efficient program execution.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • Assist with Foundation programming, fundraising initiatives and events (gala, online auctions, in-game sales).
  • Work closely with youth hockey associations to coordinate game night program sales.
  • Assist with and execute Foundation administrative needs and other miscellaneous assignments or new projects as needed.
  • CRM (Customer Relationship Management) database management input and customer communication.
  • Assist with research and vetting potential in-market donor prospects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

Formal Education & Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Social Sciences or related field, or equivalent experience.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Experience in sports philanthropy is preferred in the areas of community relations, non-profit or event management.
  • Passion and understanding of hockey, specifically community-based hockey in Minnesota, is highly preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Specifically Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) preferred not required.
  • Experience working with Fundraising and Donor management software (specifically GiveSmart) preferred not required.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within team environments and have fun.

Work Conditions:

  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed for games and events.
  • Physical requirements include sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, lifting, grasping, etc.
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs.
