Ticketing Senior Analyst - $70(k) - $105(k) annually
The Ticketing Senior Analyst is responsible for utilizing data to generate cross-source insights, developing analytical models to forecast sales, and assisting with report and dashboard development. This analyst will lead the development of insights and analytics to guide the overall business strategy, enhance the fan experience, and find opportunities for new revenues. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, analytical-minded, and eager to learn.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Work with the organization to analyze data from various sources—covering areas such as demand forecasting, pricing, resource allocation, and labor planning—to inform business decisions using tools like Excel, SQL, R, Python, and Tableau.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators providing actionable recommendations to enhance operational effectiveness and revenue growth.
- Partner with stakeholders to analyze sales trends, secondary market data, fan segmentation and competitive analysis to benchmark venue and ticketing performance.
- Manage the maintenance, audits, and development of effective interfaces between our business intelligence solution and Ticketmaster to ensure the correct integrations for our data warehouse and other marketing systems.
- Document processes and procedures.
- Provide training and daily support services on our business intelligence platform.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Formal Education & Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Tableau Analyst or Microsoft Power BI certification preferred.
Knowledge & Experience:
- At least five years of experience in Ticketing, Operations, or Data Analytics, preferably in the sports or entertainment industry.
- Two years of experience analyzing event data.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools including SQL, Excel, Tableau, and either Python or R.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise in operational efficiency, revenue optimization, cost modeling, resource management, and demand forecasting.
- Solid understanding of relational databases and complex digital ecosystems, with knowledge of available data collection metrics.
- Experience with Ticketmaster, Archtics, KORE, ticket sales platforms, pricing analytics tools, and dynamic pricing systems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with a high level of detail and accuracy.
- Experience with modeling techniques such as regression analysis, A/B testing, and statistical significance testing.
- Background in consulting or project management is a plus.
- Portfolio of relevant work demonstrating experience listed above.
