Ticket Operations Manager - $55,000 - $65,000 annually
Position Summary: The Manager, Ticket Operations is responsible for overseeing all aspects of ticketing functions and inventory management to maximize revenue and ensure operational excellence. This role plays a critical part in coordinating sales efforts, integrating technology solutions, and supporting cross-departmental initiatives that enhance the fan experience. As a key liaison between internal stakeholders, external vendors, and ticketing platforms, this position ensures a seamless and data-informed ticketing operation.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Oversee day-to-day ticket operations and event management.
- Manage ticket inventory and manifest, optimizing mix to grow total revenue.
- Create ticketing events in Archtics, including pricing and theme packs.
- Oversee order processing for season tickets, group tickets, and season payment plans.
- Manage all ticket stock and other related ticketing inventory as needed.
- Act as Manager on Duty in the box office on game/event days.
- Manage ticketing pre-sale and on-sale operations and timelines, including establishing ticket inventory for each.
- Design, print, and coordinate delivery of ticketing invoices and statements.
- Assist with internal ticketing needs across the organization.
- Primary liaison for TM API preferred vendors (e.g., IOmedia, FEVO).
- Support sales and marketing through data, technology, and cross-functional coordination.
- Assist Marketing Intelligence Group with sales commission reporting.
- Assist with group sales process, including placement of traditional group sales, creation of FEVO pages for theme offers, management/allocation of group inventory, and group add-on event creation.
- Assist with the design and maintenance of new Ticketmaster technologies as needed.
- Cross-department validation of industry trends and best practices.
- Analyze ticketing data to inform strategy and drive revenue growth.
- Analyze ticketing trends, identifying and communicating insights to improve organizational decision-making and increase overall revenue.
- Accurately prepare internal and external ticketing reports (e.g., daily Game Summary report, MLV game reports) on a timely basis, while continuously improving the process and product.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Formal Education & Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Two to three years of experience in a database management role.
- Additional experience in an analytical role preferred.
- Experience with Ticketmaster ARCHTICS ticketing system preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, with considerable experience in working with large amounts of data from disparate data systems preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of software products, including high proficiency in Excel (basic data modeling, creating graphs/illustrations and more complex analysis).
- Experience in providing superior customer service.
