MN Women's Major League Volleyball - Manager, Revenue Marketing - $50,000 - $70,000 annually
The Manager, Revenue Marketing partners closely with the Director, Marketing and Manager, Automation and Digital Marketing to bring revenue-driving strategies to life, supporting ticket sales, merchandise growth, and fan engagement for a growing Minnesota sports organization. This role owns the day-to-day execution and optimization of marketing campaigns, ensuring strong performance through cross-functional collaboration and data-driven decision-making. The Manager, Revenue Marketing plays a key role in bridging strategy and execution, helping scale marketing efforts that deliver immediate revenue impact and long-term organizational growth.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Support and execute strategic marketing initiatives that drive revenue
- Partner with the Director, Marketing and Manager, Automation and Digital Marketing to develop and execute multi-channel marketing strategies/campaigns that drive revenue across ticket sales, merchandise, and corporate partnerships.
- Translate high-level marketing strategy into actionable, revenue-focused campaigns across key customer segments in a startup sports environment.
- Lead the planning and execution of ticketing and promotional campaigns, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals and seasonal priorities.
- Collaborate with merchandise and partnerships teams to align promotional offers with brand positioning and fan expectations.
- Help define and refine customer segmentation and value propositions to improve targeting, messaging, and conversion.
- Support the ideation and execution of fan acquisition, lead-generation, and experiential marketing initiatives that drive measurable growth.
- Work with retail partners to oversee merchandise operations.
- Manage campaign execution, content strategy, and media performance
- Oversee the execution of integrated marketing campaigns across owned and paid channels, ensuring consistency in messaging, tone, and visual identity.
- Guide content development and messaging in partnership with creative and brand stakeholders to ensure high-impact, performance-driven outputs.
- Manage paid media planning and execution, including campaign setup, optimization, and performance tracking.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide insights and recommendations to improve results.
- Analyze marketing data and customer insights to inform testing strategies and identify new growth opportunities.
- Partner with analytics and finance teams to track campaign performance and support ROI reporting.
- Enable cross-functional collaboration and execution
- Serve as a key day-to-day marketing lead for cross-functional initiatives, coordinating timelines, deliverables, and execution across teams.
- Act as a primary point of contact between revenue marketing and internal partners, agencies, and vendors.
- Support the development and adoption of scalable workflows and project management processes to improve efficiency and visibility.
- Communicate campaign plans, priorities, and performance updates to stakeholders, escalating insights and recommendations to the Director of Marketing as needed.
- Balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, contributing directly to campaign delivery while supporting broader departmental goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Formal Education & Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Knowledge & Experience:
- At least two to five years of experience managing customer-facing marketing campaigns and writing collateral.
- Demonstrated knowledge of marketing acumen to include customer segmentation and value creation.
- Demonstrated ability to write marketing communication and digital collateral.
- Experience working in the sports industry preferred.
- Experience analyzing customer data preferred.
- Computer proficiency in the use of Microsoft office suite to include Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
