Supervisor, Box Office Event (Part-Time)
Box Office Event Supervisor (Part-Time) - $20 per hour
This position supports the Box Office Manager on Duty in the daily operations of the Box Office. It is responsible for supervising a well-trained team of ticket sellers who deliver exceptional customer service to both external guests and internal stakeholders, while adhering to established cash control procedures. The role oversees Ticket Sellers, Guest Resolution Staff, and Phone Operators.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Collaborate tactfully and effectively with ticket sellers, guest resolution staff, phone operators, and full-time management to ensure smooth box office operations during events.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of St. Paul RiverCentre and Grand Casino Arena event details—including dates, pricing, discounts, restrictions, and venue maps—to assist staff and guests with accurate information.
- Reconcile ticket sale revenues and follow accounting procedures to prepare deposits at the conclusion of events.
- Prepare and submit detailed event summary reports.
- Provide support in ticket selling and phone operations as needed to ensure optimal guest service.
- Manage staff breaks in accordance with established guidelines.
- Prepare cash deposits when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Formal Education & Certification:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Previous ticketing systems knowledge; SeatGeek experience preferred.
- In-depth understanding of box office operations at St. Paul RiverCentre and Grand Casino Arena.
- Proven accuracy in handling monetary transactions.
- Accounting or bookkeeping experience is a plus.

Work Conditions:
- Work is primarily sedentary. Some physical requirements include sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, twisting, lifting, grasping, etc.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the event schedules.
- Continuous use of hands, as well as talking and hearing throughout shifts.
- Ability to stand at the ticket window for extended periods, with occasional sitting as needed.
