Digital Content Coordinator
Digital Content Coordinator: $45,000-$55,000 annually
Position Summary: The Coordinator, Digital Content is an upbeat and organized individual who plays a pivotal role on the Digital Marketing Team. This role is primarily focused on creating, supporting, and publishing strategic social campaigns to drive brand awareness, grow the Minnesota Wild’s social media footprint, generate revenue via corporate sponsorships and ultimately grow the State of Hockey.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Create, schedule, and manage engaging content across digital and social media platforms to grow and maintain audience engagement.
- Assist with scheduling and posting photos, videos, articles etc. to all major social media platforms on a day-to-day basis that will engage and grow our various channels.
- Schedule & post content for the following accounts:
- MN Wild
- Wild Gives Back
- MN Wild Pup
- Wild on 7th (as needed)
- Hockey Day Minnesota (as needed)
- Daily maintenance on the following accounts:
- MN Wild
- Wild Gives Back
- MN Wild Pip
- Wild on 7th
- Hockey Day Minnesota
- Craft brand or product stories that will engage audiences on an emotional level.
- Engage directly with fans and represent the brand at live events, community programs, and in-game experiences to deepen fan relationships and visibility.
- Interact with fans, run in-game contests, and cover the action live.
- Attend:
- Community Events
- Wild Foundation Events
- Player Hospital visits
- Brand activation initiatives (pregame parties, etc.)
- Home and away games (as needed)
- Any other event that requires content support
- Support strategic marketing initiatives and cross-functional collaboration while helping lead and guide seasonal team members.
- Support strategies for unlocking new audiences and revenue opportunities while growing engagement with current fans.
- Execute fan-focused and data-driven strategies with short deadlines.
- Work closely with teams across the organization, including Creative Services, Video Production, B2C and B2B marketing, Hockey Operations and Ticketing.
- Assist with giving day-to-day direction to department intern during season.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Formal Education & Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or other related field, sports emphasis is a plus or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of hockey is required.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Exposure using social media analytics is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Adobe Creative Suite (Lightroom, Photoshop, etc.).
- Experience managing content for accounts on Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Tik Tok and YouTube.
- Previous experience working with a content calendar is preferred but not required.
- Experience with project management systems (Wrike preferred).

Work Conditions:
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed for games and events.
- Travel up to 40% (away games, league meetings, draft, etc.)
- Physical requirements include sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, lifting, grasping, etc.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
