Customer Sales and Service Intern
Customer Sales & Service Intern - $16.37 per hour
Position Summary: The Customer Sales & Service Intern, assists with the development and day-to-day execution of department initiatives, which include Season Ticket Member sales events as well as assisting with group sales initiatives. Duties include providing the department support with game day preparation, maintaining relationships with guests and support related department projects.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Assist in the planning and execution of Season Ticket Member and new business events.
- Coordinate communication and items related to group sales initiatives.
- Provide daily Sales and Service team support.
- Assist with the set up and preparation of activation locations within the arena on game days.
- Provide exceptional customer service internally and externally, as well as assist guests during events and games while staffing designated activation areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Formal Education & Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Sales, Marketing, Communications and/or Business Management or equivalent experience.
Knowledge & Experience:
- At least one year of experience in customer service and/or sales.
- Experience working in the sports industry and/or knowledge of hockey preferred.
- Proficient computer skills with ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Photoshop and PowerPoint.
- Experience with managing social media platforms in a professional setting.

Work Conditions:
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed for games and events.
- Physical requirements include sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, lifting, grasping, etc.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
