The Inside Sales Intern supports the Iowa Wild's ticketing and service teams by assisting with sales outreach, customer service, and game day operations. This role involves making outbound calls, prospecting new leads, and helping with fan engagement initiatives during events and community appearances. By contributing to both sales goals and the overall fan experience, the Intern, Inside Sales plays an important role in driving revenue and strengthening relationships with fans and partners.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Provide exceptional customer service and fan engagement initiatives on game days and at events.
- Actively take inbound calls and provide world-class customer service to fans.
- Help with implementation and set-up of initiatives to help retain Season Ticket Members, including events and other ‘day making’ initiatives.
- Ability to work game nights and support with arena set up and game night initiatives.
- Assist with getting the performance groups to the correct areas on gamedays and the responsibilities tied to that.
- Ability to work game nights at the designated Sales space inside Wells Fargo Arena.
- Represent the Iowa Wild at community events to network and implement sales promotions.
- Support the Service team as needed.
- Contribute to sales efforts by prospecting, outreach, and supporting ticket sales teams.
- Meet or exceed both individual and team ticket sales goals.
- Actively research and prospect new sales leads for ticket packages, groups, and suites.
- Make outbound phone calls to prospective Season Ticket Members or Group Buyers.
- Contribute positively to the Ticket Sales team with day-to-day projects and needs.
- Support the Group Sales team as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Formal Education & Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Sales, Business Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Customer Service experience.
- Experience in the sports industry preferred.
- Familiarity with database management tools (i.e. CRM).
- Proficient computer skills with ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.

Work Conditions:
- Ability to work approximately 30 hours per week.
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed for games and events.
- Physical requirements include sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, lifting, grasping, etc.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
