The Ice Operations Crew supports ice maintenance during media timeouts and helps execute on-ice promotions during intermissions to keep games running smoothly and entertainment flowing. They also serve as energetic ambassadors, interacting with fans and delivering exceptional customer service throughout the arena. This role plays an important part in enhancing fan engagement and showcasing the team’s commitment to a top-tier game-day experience.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • Assist Casey’s Center staff with ice maintenance, including the removal of snow and ice build-up during all media timeouts.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of on-ice promotional activities/games during intermissions.
  • Bring the energy, excitement, and fun as you interact with fans as ambassadors to the Iowa Wild and Casey’s Center.
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests in the arena.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

Formal Education & Certification:

  • Some post-secondary education is preferred, not required.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Ability to skate at a proficient level.
  • Experience working on an ice rink preferred, not required.

Personal Attributes:

  • Fan-friendly attitude and willingness to help.
  • Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

Work Conditions:

  • Available to work 90% of Iowa Wild home games during the 2025-2026 AHL season.
  • Flexible schedule, with ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays for home games.
  • Ability to stand/skate up to five hours at a time.
  • Physical requirements include sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, lifting, grasping, etc.
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs.
