Job Summary

The Director, Corporate Sales and Service is responsible for the oversight and direction of the Sales and Membership Service Departments. Responsibilities include the sale, renewal, cross selling, and customer service of new Full Season Equivalents, Season Ticket Memberships, and Corporate Sales. This role oversees the Corporate Hospitality Sales and Memberships Service Departments and creates and executes business plans, sales and renewal strategies to surpass all revenue and renewal targets. This position is also responsible for leading the strategy around recruiting, training, and developing our Corporate Hospitality Sales staff and Memberships Service staff within the Los Angeles Kings organization. In addition, the incumbent will take the lead on in-game selling and running corporate sales and renewal events.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Work with Account Managers and the Manager Membership Service to manage the day-to-day activity of the Corporate Hospitality Sales and membership Service teams with specific goals, focusing on motivation and accountability, and assist in setting sales meetings and developing sales and renewal presentations and collateral. Additional projects include but are not limited to account renewals, service events, member benefits, touchpoints, and other service initiatives.
  • Responsible for training, conceiving, creating, managing and developing strategy for corporate sales, renewals, and service campaigns within the ticket sales department of the Los Angeles Kings. The campaigns include but are not limited to Corporate Sales, Season Ticket Memberships, Renewal and Client Service, and other campaigns required. Provide direction and input on collateral and marketing materials.
  • Develop and maintain sales and service goals, training and roadmaps for staff along with the VP of Ticket Sales and Service, and the Director of Ticket Sales. Compile and distribute daily, weekly and monthly ticket counts and event-based reports. Act as a management point of contact for all escalated customer service issues.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Ticket Sales to develop strategies for cross-selling campaigns, staff training, and to plan sales events throughout the season at games, training center, off-site, and utilization of Crypto.com Arena sales center.
  • Work with leadership on event creation, processing and fulfillment duties associated with ticket orders, invoices and payments. Collaborate with the Marketing, PR, Game Operations and other departments to ensure management of lead generation and service plans as required to ensure execution of renewal, upgrade, and proactive service campaigns.
  • Responsible for promoting a culture of innovation, new ideas, events and opportunities to benefit season ticket holders. Act as primary channel for initiating learning activities associated with protocols, policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members, agencies, venues, and all individuals or entities required to establish and cultivate relationships vital to the success of our goals and objectives.
  • Oversee financial modeling and assist in the development and management of the Corporate Hospitality Sales and Service team budget. Sales forecasting and data analytics, and oversight integrity for reports. Assist Ticket Sales and Service leadership in creating the annual ticket sales business plans.

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

  • Availability to work nights, all events, weekends and holidays

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Education:

  • A minimum education level of: BA/BS Degree (4-year) (Advanced Degree Preferred)

Experience:

  • A minimum of 6-8 years of related experience
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and or coaching teams
  • Experience in the sports and entertainment industry preferred

Payscale: $100,765 - $130,000

Bonus: This position is eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
