This position will be responsible for aiding the Theatre Operations Manager in overseeing the Electrical needs of Stifel Theatre. This position under direction from the Theatre Operations Manager will be responsible for performing skilled work in the installation, alteration, maintenance, and repair of the facilities electrical systems. This position will assist in the implementation of a safety program, and a preventative maintenance plan. Provide assistance as well as direction in the preparation of all events to include but not limited to set-up, operation and tear down. Provide and assist in the coordination between staff, potential client, and promoters as needed for the successful presentation of events. Other duties as assigned.

JOB KNOWLEDGE:
A minimum of 3 to 5 years in a multipurpose Theatre/Arena/Stadium environment. Required experience in the electrical lighting controls and fixtures, emergency power systems, test circuits, regulators, low voltage systems and high voltage systems and transformers. Currently hold or must be able to obtain a Masters electrical license. Must be a self starter and be able to work long irregular hours and possess good verbal and written communication and team building skills. Knowledge in computer programs i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, ISS 24/7, etc.

 
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for the continued maintenance and continuous operation of all building systems including: fire/life safety, electrical (lighting, UPS, PDU, generators, switchgear), cabling (data and voice, broad band) and lighting 
  • Responsible to the Theatre Operations Manager for the facilities readiness condition, ability to support events, and day-to-day operations within the Electrical field.
  • Operation and maintenance of HVAC equipment.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual Electrical budget and capital expenditures.
  • Assists and performs skilled labor in the support of conversion equipment, training of personnel.
  • Review event schedules, electrical reports, equipment conditions, parts and material inventories and cost to maximize effectiveness of the electrical department. 
  • Submit reports and improvements plans to the Theatre Operations Manager for approval.
  • Strong understanding, commitment, and proven implementation experience in OSHA safety programs and processes.
  • Maintain proper dress attire for self and all personnel assigned as instructed by Stifel Theatre Management.
  • Assist and supervise the implementation and completions of all projects inside/outside of the facilities.
  • Delegate responsibilities to subordinates with full recognition that overall accountability is attained and ensure that supervised personnel perform on their own initiative and without prior approval as described in their job description.
  • Ensure that all work is preformed in accordance with good industry practices and safety regulations.
  • Assist in the supervision and monitoring of contractual services as it relates to the Stifel Theatre and its needs.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet various deadlines simultaneously.
  • Assist all other departments whenever possible. 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to read and write at a level necessary for a successful job performance. Must hold or be capable of attaining a Master Electricians License.

CONTINUING EDUCATION:
Attend meetings and conferences as it relates to the Electrical functions and components of the Stifel Theatre.
