Position Overview:
The Finance Intern will support the Finance Department in day-to-day accounting and financial analysis
activities. This role offers hands-on experience in sports finance, providing exposure to revenue streams,
expense management, and financial reporting within a professional NHL organization.

Key Responsibilities:
• Help reconcile accounts and review financial transactions for accuracy
• Support accounts payable management and forecasting
• Collaborate with staff on expense tracking and cost control initiatives
• Assist in audit preparation and documentation
• Assist in quarterly and year-end tax documentation preparation
• Conduct research and compile data for special finance projects
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation

Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Incoming Senior or Graduate student preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Hours:
• 15 hours per week with the potential for additional hours based on department demand
• Must work in the office at Enterprise Center in downtown St. Louis
• Relatively flexible on days/schedule
• Standard office hours (8:30am – 5:00pm)
