The Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation hosts a 50/50 Raffle during each Penguins home game.  The 50/50 Raffle is staffed by Pittsburgh Penguins employees and proceeds benefit Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation programs and local 501c3 charities. The Pittsburgh Penguins are looking for employees to work at the 50/50 Raffle ticket stations during each home game, as well as help promote the mission of the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation. 

 Duties and responsibilities for each game are described below:
  • Contribution to the success of the 50/50 Raffle throughout the game by selling tickets and processing credit sales either individually or with an assigned partner.
  • Must arrive 30 minutes prior to doors opening and sell until the start of the 3rd Period.
    • For example, this may be a 5 PM or 5:30 PM arrival time for a 7 PM game depending upon the time doors open.
  • Must act in a professional manner: absolutely NO consumption of alcohol or tobacco; No eating or drinking while operating kiosks or managing handheld devices.
  • Utilization of a static kiosk to sell raffle tickets or use of a mobile handheld device; May include movement throughout the concourse to drive sales when operating a mobile device.
  • Responsible and accountable for all credit sales and refunds throughout the game.
  • Reconciliation of the kiosks/devices correctly throughout the game. 
  • Representation of the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation in a positive manner; Ability to speak to the mission of the Penguins Foundation.
  • Completion of required training at the start of the season and, as necessary, during the season.
  • Must adhere to all current COVID-19 protocols as set forth by arena officials to keep arena visitors, workers, players and performers safe. Current protocols will be communicated clearly by the 50/50 Raffle Manager.
  • Must dress in business casual attire with comfortable shoes, as you will be standing throughout the game; if uniforms are to be worn they will be provided. No jeans.
  • Prior sales experience is strongly preferred, but not required.
  • Available to work all/majority of Penguins home games (preseason, regular season, playoffs), working a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and certain holidays; a season schedule can be found here:
  • Must have exceptional oral communication skills.
  • Must be personable and extroverted to encourage fans to purchase 50/50 tickets.
  • Must be 18 years or older to handle the handheld devices and/or stand in the kiosk. 
  • Subject to criminal background check.
  • This is a paid position offered at a gameday rate to be reviewed during the interview process.
  • The Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation is looking for a group of approximately 65 sellers with 28-35 working per game.  Schedule will rotate.
  • Selected sellers will be educated and trained in the 50/50 fundraising program on the kiosks and handheld devices, and provided with information about the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation.
