WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU
SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled ServiceNow Platform Developer with a strong background in platform administration and analytics to join our growing IT team. This role will be instrumental in driving innovation, optimizing performance, and enhancing business outcomes through the effective use of the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate has hands-on expertise in designing and managing scalable solutions, automating workflows, and unlocking actionable insights through advanced reporting and analytics.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications and modules, including custom workflows, scripts, and integrations
- Administer and support the overall health of the ServiceNow platform, including upgrades, patches, performance monitoring, and security compliance
- Design, build, and manage dashboards and reports to support operational and executive-level insights
- Collaborate with business units to translate requirements into ServiceNow solutions that improve efficiency and user experience
- Ensure platform best practices, data governance, and standardization are followed across teams
- Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems using web services, REST/SOAP APIs, and MID servers
- Support ServiceNow platform roadmap planning, aligning platform capabilities with business needs
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform and application issues as they arise
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration details, and testing procedures
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge Areas/Experience
Required
- 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and administration experience
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript and familiarity with Glide API
- Experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, CMDB, Reporting, and Performance Analytics
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and best practices
- Experience with creating and managing dashboards, reports, KPIs, and Performance Analytics widgets
- Proven experience with platform maintenance activities, including instance cloning, patching, and upgrade planning
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
Preferred
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and custom API integrations
- Familiarity with Agile or ITIL methodologies
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical requirements to non-technical stakeholders
Education/Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree from 4-year university or equivalent experience

SALARY RANGE:
$140-160K
Actual base pay for a successful candidate will be determined based on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to: experience/training, market demands, and geographic location.
