WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU

SUMMARY
The Senior Manager, Finance will report directly to the Finance Director and will be responsible for managing multiple aspects of the Information Technology financial landscape. This role combines financial planning and governance as well as capital project oversight to ensure alignment between IT, Finance, and other business areas. Working closely with the stakeholders this individual will help drive financial transparency, efficiency, and accountability across the technology organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation and development of annual budgets, forecasts and strategic planning in collaboration with Technology Leadership.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Perform in-depth financial analysis and assist with developing detailed financial reports and dashboards for executive leadership. Provide valuable insights into results including identification of risks and opportunities.
  • Cost Management: Analyze and monitor technology expenses, track performance and review invoices to ensure the technology teams are on-track with approved spend. 
  • Financial Close Process: Assist in annual, quarterly and month-end close process, and audit inquiries to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance.
  • Contract Management: Review relevant technology contracts and track obligations and terms.

QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge Areas/Experience
Required
  • Minimum 5 years of Technology focused financial analysis, budgeting, capital projects and experience in a leadership/supervisory role
  • Strong understanding of technology spend, allocation methodologies and accounting principles and practices
  • Ability to work independently while efficiently managing time and resources in a dynamic work environment to meet commitments
  • Ability to create professional analyses and present to senior leaders
  • Ability to take initiative and resolve challenges with keen attention to detail
  • Resourcefulness, responsiveness and strong analytical abilities 
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably SAP), financial modeling and advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent organization and communication skills, capable of conveying complex financial and technical information in a clear and concise manner
 

 Education/Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or a related field
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience

SALARY RANGE:
 $130-140K
 
Actual base pay for a successful candidate will be determined based on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to: experience/training, market demands, and geographic location.
