Senior Manager, Analytics

SUMMARY
The Senior Manager, Analytics will be responsible for building durable data assets and analytical capabilities that enable smarter decision-making and long-term growth across the organization. This role focuses on developing the foundations—data, insights, frameworks, and operating models—that allow teams to better understand fans, customers, and business performance, and to activate that understanding consistently and at scale.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and evolve core analytics assets, including KPIs, metrics frameworks, data models, and insight products
- Ensure data is structured, trusted, and reusable across use cases and teams
- Partner with technology and data engineering teams to influence data architecture and accessibility
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that support strategic and operational decisions
- Act as a thought partner to leaders across the organization, helping shape questions, priorities, and measurement approaches
- Shift analytics from reactive reporting to proactive insight generation
- Establish best practices for analytics, experimentation, forecasting, and performance measurement
- Define standards for analysis, visualization, documentation, and governance
- Build repeatable processes that improve speed, quality, and consistency of insights
- Enable teams to use data effectively by developing dashboards, tools, and analytical education
- Balance centralized expertise with decentralized usage—helping others answer their own questions
- Promote data literacy and a shared understanding of key metrics across the organization
- Support the development of organization-wide engagement and growth strategies through data-driven insight
- Help evaluate new initiatives, pilot programs, and emerging areas of the business with clear success measures
- Identify patterns and opportunities across fan, customer, and operational data to inform future investment
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of analysts and analytics managers
- Set clear expectations, growth paths, and performance standards for the team
- Foster a culture of curiosity, rigor, and business impact
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge Areas/Experience
- 7–10+ years of experience in analytics, data strategy, or business intelligence
- 3+ years of people management experience
- Strong analytical foundation, including SQL and modern BI/analytics tools
- Demonstrated ability to translate data into insight and influence decision-making
- Experience working with complex, multi-source datasets
