WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU
SUMMARY
The Senior Director, Financial Reporting and Systems will report directly to the SVP and Controller, Finance and will be responsible to lead and oversee all financial applications and processes within the organization. This role is pivotal in supporting and implementing financial applications and processes, ensuring the seamless integration, optimization, and management of financial systems to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of financial/accounting operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and oversee the development, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of financial applications, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address financial system needs, streamline financial processes and improve system efficiency
- Collaborate with IT and finance departments to ensure accuracy, data integrity, and security across all systems, and compliance with regulatory standards
- Lead design of interfaces, testing plans, and test scripts, conversion programs, reports, and enhancements while applying common best practices for the industry
- Assist in developing and managing budgets for financial systems projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on system performance and financial data analysis
- Provide strategic thinking and serve as a subject matter expert in relevant financial systems
- Present complex financial information and analysis to C-suite executives in a clear and concise manner
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends and best practices in financial systems and technology
- Manage and mentor direct reports by fostering continuous improvement and career growth and professional development. Regularly assess their performance by first identifying strengths and development areas, and then implementing improvement plans through coaching and guidance, as needed
- Oversee and drive special projects and ad-hoc initiatives, as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge Areas/Experience
Required
- Minimum 10 years of accounting/financial systems (hybrid) experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership/supervisory role
- Proven experience in implementing, migrating and supporting financial applications and processes
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices (GAAP) and financial reporting
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, S/4HANA, Concur, Dayforce, etc.)
Education/Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or a related field
- MBA, CPA, Certification in project management or relevant advanced degree highly preferred

SALARY RANGE:
$195-215K
Actual base pay for a successful candidate will be determined based on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to: experience/training, market demands, and geographic location.
