WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU

SUMMARY
Serve as content producer for League website, app and connective device platforms on seasonal basis.  Would include building and populating individual story shells, showcase panels, and placing content on site, mostly at night and on deadline. This position is temporary, part-time with night hours, usually 6.5- or 7.5-hour shifts between 5pm and 2am ET or as needed. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Process, produce and program editorial and video content for publication on NHL site, app and connected device platforms
  • Navigate multiple systems to retrieve and distribute video and editorial content

QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge Areas/Experience
Required
  • 3+ years within a leading technology, digital media and/or digital video company
  • Prior publishing and website experience
  • Success in managing a range of time sensitive projects, multiple partnerships and workstreams simultaneously
  • Strong knowledge of the NHL and passion for the sport of hockey
  • Experience using content management systems, html, css and javascript
 
Preferred
  • Expertise in search engine optimization a plus
  • Editing and writing skills a plus

 Education/Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree

SALARY RANGE:
 $25/hour 
 
Actual base pay for a successful candidate will be determined based on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to: experience/training, market demands, and geographic location.
