WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU

SUMMARY
The National Hockey League is looking for our next class of interns to join our 2026 Summer Internship Program.  
 
We are looking for a PMO Summer Intern to assist with a diverse set of projects related to current IT initiatives. This person will gain experience with several different service groups across the league, and their work will be meaningful and important to the success of each project. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Analyze existing event schedules and help develop standardized templates in partnership with IT leadership
  • Support migration of data integration jobs from Lotus Enterprise Integrator (LEI) to Qlik Replicate, including testing and coordination
  • Evaluate Jira Cloud as a replacement for Monday.com by analyzing releasetracking needs and preparing recommendations
  • Assist with partner API platform migration through testing support, communications, documentation, and training materials
  • Review and synthesize employee feedback for the My Home Ice intranet to support future feature requirements
  • Create userfocused training documentation for new and updated IT features delivered during the offseason
  • Develop training materials for digital platform configuration tools used by internal teams and NHL Clubs

QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge Areas/Experience
Required
  • Familiarity with technical concepts and terminology

Preferred
  • Experienced with Visio or other workflow/process mapping tools is a plus
 
Education/Certifications
  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student in an accredited university/college pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

Required Skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple projects independently
  • Proactive and collaborative approach to working with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word; experience with ServiceNow SPM is a plus

All of our internships are paid at $20/hour. WE DO NOT OFFER SCHOOL CREDIT.
