WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU
SUMMARY
The National Hockey League is looking for our next class of interns to join our 2026 Summer Internship Program.
The International Strategy & Operations Intern will learn how the team works with various departments to execute multiple international events each season. Intern will interact with several internal stakeholders to prepare key documents and work on ad hoc projects related to 2026 Global Series and 2028 World Cup of Hockey.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare presentations, briefing materials and timelines/trackers for internal partners (Events, Hockey Operations, Legal, Finance, Media, Marketing, PR, Clubs, and National Federations)
- Prepare operating manuals for event stakeholders. Assist with designing a new and elevated document format for these manuals
- Track historical costs of event charter aircraft to analyze increases in cost and availability dynamics in the charter market
- Assist with sourcing & selection of outfitting assortments for Global Series and World Cup of Hockey
- Other projects as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge Areas/Experience
Required
- Interest in learning about event operations
Education/Certifications
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student in an accredited university/college pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Required Skills
- Attention to detail
- Skilled in use of Microsoft Office suite of programs (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)

All of our internships are paid at $20/hour. WE DO NOT OFFER SCHOOL CREDIT.
