WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU

SUMMARY
The National Hockey League is looking for our next class of interns to join our 2026 Summer Internship Program.  
 
Collaborate with the HR team to gain an understanding of the overall function of Human Resources with a focus on Talent Acquisition and Talent Management. Support the coordination and execution of various projects within the HR Department. This internship requires excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Conduct industry research to uncover talent sourcing best practices 
  • Perform administrative tasks within the Learning Management System as assigned 
  • Design marketing materials for new learning and development programs that build employee skills 
  • Assign onboarding trainings and follow up with new hires on training completion. 
  • Act as the intern liaison and plan “Lunch and Learn” events for the Internship Program 
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned 

QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge Areas/Experience
Required
  • College student with an interest in Human Resources, primarily recruiting and learning & development 
  • Extensive computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office 

 Education/Certifications
  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student in an accredited university/college pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

Required Skills
  • Must be detail-oriented, extremely organized with the ability to multi-task and follow-up in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Will have a personable and professional demeanor with sensitivity dealing with confidential information 
  • Ability to learn programs and procedures quickly

All of our internships are paid at $20/hour. WE DO NOT OFFER SCHOOL CREDIT.
