Coordinator, Media Inventory

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU
SUMMARY
The National Hockey League is seeking a Coordinator, Media Inventory to assist in the planning and management of media inventory used to promote the NHL brand, events, products, media properties and other League initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the planning, scheduling, trafficking and reporting of all TV/video, radio, digital, virtual line-of-sight and other media inventory controlled by the NHL in every NHL game broadcast/stream and on NHL branded media properties (e.g. NHL.com, NHL App) across all global territories.
- Manage creative upload process, and the active/inactive availability of creative materials for scheduling.
- Manage the weekly media trafficking process, including detailed traffic instructions and contact lists.
- Monitor US, Canada and International master broadcast schedules for changes that impact scheduled media and creative materials and make necessary adjustments.
- Review internal and external media reporting documents, as well as screen US/Canada/International broadcasts, to track, tag and ensure inventory ran as planned.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Contribute to the monitoring and reporting of NHL and competitive league coverage within game and key content across external media networks and platforms.
- Communicate ad specs, guidelines and deadlines to various stakeholders producing creative materials.
- Process media related invoices with Finance.
- Work on special projects and other duties as assigned.
Knowledge Areas/Experience
- 1+ years of related experience, preferably at a sports league/club, television network/streaming platform or media/advertising agency
Preferred
- Knowledge of hockey and the NHL is a plus
- Experience with media and ad operations processes, tools and platforms a plus
Education/Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
Required Skills
- Detail oriented and strong communicator
- Ability to work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work effectively and adapt in a time-sensitive role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
