WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU
SUMMARY
Responsible for auditing and processing employee expense reports, resolving related inquiries and ensuring compliance with the guidelines of the NHL’s travel and expense policy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process employee expense reports submitted through Concur Expense Solutions (travel expense system) including reviewing and validating/auditing submitted expenses
- Ensure that submitted expense reports comply with corporate travel policy
- Responsible for understanding the interface between Concur Expense Solutions and the Lawson financial system to audit for inconsistencies
- Responsible for requesting new vendors to be added to Lawson financial system for expense reimbursement payment
- Communicate with employees to resolve travel and expense issues and other general questions
- Assist with following up with employees to submit reports timely
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge Areas/Experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments, priorities and deadlines in a timely efficient manner, with a commitment to a quality work product
- Previous accounting and/or expense reimbursement experience a plus
- Experience with Lawson and/or Concur Expense systems a plus
- Self-motivated, organized individual with ability to work independently and take initiative on problem solving
- Must be very detail oriented
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels within the organization
