Job Responsibilities:
The Restaurant Manager will run the Arena Club restaurant, VIP Parties for concerts in the Arena Club space, Ledge Bar game day F&B packages, and the Ledge Bar at events. The Restaurant Manager will lead their team in providing hospitality to our premium clients in the Arena Club and Ledge Bar spaces. Will cross train to learn Catering to assist with catering events on non-event days.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead by example in providing the highest customer service to all Arena Club and Ledge Bar customers.
- Create pleasing atmosphere for clients and their guests; assist clients with event day needs.
- Establish rapport with clients and guests.
- Oversee part time staff of about 40 to 50
- Hire, train and maintain part time restaurant/ ledge staff.
- Handles restaurant reservations/VIP Parties for concerts in the restaurant/Ledge Bar game day packages
- Placing food, alcoholic beverage, linen, and equipment orders for restaurant
- Generate employee schedules and manage employee payroll for all functions using the payroll software.
- Effectively manage labor to ensure cost efficiency.
- Oversee the upkeep of restaurant and storage areas.
- Work with Culinary staff to ensure food quality, presentation, and appeal.
- Perform accurate monthly inventory counts meeting targeted deadlines
- Keep accurate inventory of all catering products.
- Generate all necessary administrative documentation including client receipts and daily sales reports.
- Stay up to date on new trends, methods, and items that can further improve serving clients.
Experience:
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of three years front-of-house management experience in a full-service/full-bar restaurant. Excellent team-building skills and hospitality-centric leadership skills. Catering experience is a plus.
Must have ability to communicate effectively with guests and employees. Must also possess strong computer skills and working knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) system. Should have physical ability to withstand long hours, walk, and stand for long periods of time and climb stairs as needed. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Must pass a criminal background check.
