The Carolina Hurricanes are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to support the planning, administration, and execution of the $300M enhancement and renovation of the Lenovo Center. The position will also be tasked with additional special projects supporting Lenovo Center and the Carolina Hurricanes. This role is ideal for an early-career professional with strong organizational and project management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Work with ownership, senior leadership, external stakeholders, contractors and consultants in development of design strategy for Lenovo Center enhancement project. 
  • Work with ownership and senior leadership in supervision of construction of Lenovo Center enhancement project and development of strategy to continue building operations through construction.  
  • Coordinate day-to-day administrative and project support for the Lenovo Center enhancement project between departments through written and/or verbal communication, reports, and presentations. 
  • Maintain and monitor project schedules, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with internal departments. 
  • Assist in preparing project documentation, meeting agendas, minutes, reports, and presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders. Materials include PowerPoint, Excel charts, exhibits, and other visual aids. 
  • Serve as a liaison across departments and partner entities to ensure consistent communication, alignment, and timely execution of tasks. 
  • Track project milestones and provide status updates to leadership and stakeholders. 
  • Provide general administrative support, including scheduling meetings, maintaining databases, and organizing project files. 
  • Handle special projects as assigned by the executive team. 
 Qualifications: 
  • Adherence to corporate confidentiality requirements.  
  • Excellent communication skills, including outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of internal and external colleagues and contacts.  
  • Highly organized, self-directed business style, with ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once.  
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends including being available by email and phone. 
  • Working knowledge of computer software, specifically Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 
  • Bachelor’s degree  
  • 1–2 years of full-time relevant work experience in project coordination, administration, or management. 
  • Must pass criminal background check
