The Twin City Thunderbirds Professional Hockey Team is seeking motivated, aggressive, and relationship-driven Sponsorship Sales Executives to help grow our corporate partnerships and advertising revenue throughout the region.
This is an exciting opportunity to represent one of the most recognizable sports brands in the Triad while working directly with local and regional businesses to create impactful marketing partnerships.
What You’ll Sell
Our sponsorship inventory includes:
- Dasher board advertising
- Center ice and on-ice logos
- Arena signage and banners
- Zamboni sponsorships
- Penalty box and bench sponsorships
- Video board advertising
- Broadcast commercials
- Radio advertising
- Digital and social media sponsorships
- Game night sponsorships
- Promotional giveaways
- VIP hospitality packages
- Season ticket corporate packages
- Community partnership programs
Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new sponsorship relationships
- Contact local and regional businesses by phone, email, networking, and in-person meetings
- Present customized sponsorship opportunities
- Maintain and grow long-term business partnerships
- Meet and exceed monthly sales goals
- Work closely with team leadership on sponsor fulfillment and activation
- Represent the organization professionally within the community
Qualifications
- Sales experience preferred, especially in advertising, sports, media, or B2B sales
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Comfortable making cold calls and developing new business
- Passion for hockey and sports is a plus
- Reliable transportation for local meetings and events
