The Topeka Scarecrows Director, Corporate Partnerships is a leadership position responsible for developing, maintaining, generating, and increasing corporate marketing partnerships, which may include tickets. This role emphasizes relationship sales, new business development, and customer retention. The Director will provide extensive customer service and continually develop relationships with clients, co-workers, and corporate partners. This position requires a strong drive for results and the ability to meet and exceed goals.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key member of the Topeka Scarecrows leadership team.
- Lead the strategic development and retention of all corporate marketing partnerships.
- Generate, develop, and maintain new and ongoing business and sales relationships.
- Implement and execute outbound sales efforts, utilizing best practices in prospecting, networking, lead generation, and CRM management.
- Identify and understand client objectives to initiate research, develop, implement, fulfill, and recap partnership proposals, elements, and contracts.
- Negotiate skillfully with both internal and external groups, securing agreements without damaging relationships.
- Build appropriate rapport and constructive, effective relationships with diverse individuals.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of sponsorship and media sales, including digital media.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently develop and generate new business.
- Self-starter with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
- Proven ability to engage and interact effectively with current and prospective clients, fans, and other stakeholders.
