The Topeka Scarecrows are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Account Executive to join our growing sales team. This role is ideal for a proactive individual passionate about sports and dedicated to building strong client relationships and driving revenue. You will be responsible for selling a variety of ticket packages, group experiences, and premium inventory, contributing directly to the team's success and fan engagement.

Responsibilities:
  • Meet and exceed individual and team sales goals for new and renewal ticket plans, group tickets, catered events, and suite rentals.
  • Actively prospect, research, and generate new business through extensive cold calling, face-to-face meetings, networking, and other marketing methods.
  • Utilize the full catalog of inventory items (group seating, full and partial season ticket packages, food & beverage options, suites, meeting spaces, etc.) to customize comprehensive hospitality packages that meet clients' needs.
  • Build and nurture lasting relationships with corporate and community-oriented customers, providing superior customer service to existing clients and prospects.
  • Service incoming sales calls and inquiries from prospects and existing customers.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Ticket Sales to identify opportunities for departmental growth and maximize sales within operational structures.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Department to generate and augment group sales opportunities and initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of all customer interactions and sales data.
  • Be present at all home games and special events to service customers, establish new relationships, and assist with game day duties.
  • Undertake other special projects and responsibilities as assigned to support organizational goals.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Business, Sports Management) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, creativity, and attention to detail.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Must be willing and able to work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with CRM systems preferred.
  • Written and verbal fluency in Spanish is a plus.
